Patti LaBelle to be honored by the National Museum of African-American Music

National Museum of African-American Music (NMAAM), will honor artists Patti LaBelle and Kirk Franklin, artist/producer Teddy Riley and songwriter/producer David Porter on June 1 at Nashville’s City Winery. This is to celebrate the museums campaign which is "My Music Matters" that benefits NMAAM’s educational programs. Prior to that is the break ground for its long-awaited formal residence at Fifth Avenue and Broadway in Nashville.
