Her concert at Carnegie Hall celebrates the anniversary of her native Benin and other West African nations—not to mention the occasion of her 60th birthday. Brittany Howard of the Alabama Shakes, Cameroonian multi-instrumentalist Manu Dibango, Senegalese singer and guitarist Baaba Maal, and Nigerian Afropop star Yemi Alade will join the festivities.
